Because our Bars contain no polluting plastic packaging or water. Only the active ingredients of a traditional plastic care product. Plastic is simply not needed to make a good product. Also the Bars contain no palm oil, are completely vegan and are lovingly hand-made in the Netherlands. And besides, one Bar always equals 3 to 4 plastic bottles. So a Bar is better for you and the planet.

With so many fragrant and cheerful choices, it's hard to choose, we understand ;-) If you don't know which variety of Bar to choose, look at the scent, ingredients and product features. For example, you can choose a Shampoo Bar that suits your hair type.

Make sure that the Bars you use in the shower (Shampoo-, Body Wash-, Conditioner- and Shaving Bars) are always drained outside the shower after use. This way your Bars have the longest life. Bars that are used outside the shower (for example the Body Lotion Bar) are best kept in a cool and dry place.

Yes! In addition to the fact that our products are completely vegan, we believe it is important that the products are free of animal testing. HappySoaps consists of a small and enthusiastic team. Within our team, we test our products ourselves. After all, you can't sell products you don't use yourself! We also regularly receive help with testing from cheerful HappySoaps customers.

In most plastic care products, a lot of water is added. For example, a plastic shampoo bottle consists of 80% water! As a customer, you only get ~20% active ingredients, the rest is water. You are paying for the water to be carried around. We do it differently - we do not add water to our Bars. We only use the active ingredients. We press (or mix) them together into a solid product. The end result is a super-concentrated, wonderfully smelling Bar. In this way, one Bar always equals several plastic bottles.

Yes, all products are fully biodegradable. One of the most important aspects of making our own products in the Netherlands: knowing exactly what goes into them. This is how we choose our own ingredients. The use of biodegradable ingredients is one of the most important pillars of ingredient sourcing.
